Social Media

Hello, everyone!  We here at AAC want to connect to our clients - current and potential - in any way we can, so we have been busy updating our "connectedness" in the virtual world.

Right now we are connected to such websites as:

Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/media/albums/?id=70955323073#!/pages/Advanced-Animal-Care/70955323073

Twitter: https://twitter.com/#!/24houranimals

YouTube: (please bear with us as this profile is still a work in progress) http://www.youtube.com/animals24hours

Flickr: http://www.flickr.com/24houranimals

Pintrest: http://pintrest.com/24houranimals

Blogger (obviously): http://24houranimals.blogspot.com

Google+: https://plus.google.com/109424363959869462374

...and the list will continue to grow before the end of April!  We will update that list once it's reached its peak.  As a company, we long to get our name out there for you guys to see.  We want you to know that we're here for you if and when you should need us.

When we say we're open 24 hours, we mean it.  That's not just an available username!  Our office is staffed 24/7 because we realize that the four-legged members of your family do not get sick during the hours of 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday only.  Things happen at 2 a.m.; we know this.  And we are here to help.

That is one reason why our social media presence is so important.  Yes, it benefits us (as it does all businesses), but it benefits you even more!  We would like to keep you informed about the best care for your pet while also showing you the work we do in stories such as Taylor Leigh's - see the previous blog entry if you haven't read it already.

The goal of this blog is really to give you insider tips.  Use the comments section below as a way to pick the brains of the doctors and technicians.  When we have a special event going on, we'll post details about it here.  For instance, February was Dental Month for your dog.  Unfortunately, we did not develop this blog in time to get the word out about dental hygiene, but next February, you can bet we will!

We also like to hold contests and give out free care packages for your pets.  Typically, those are hosted on Facebook, but we may try to experiment with putting the details on here for you.  And, of course, we all love those good stories about the incredible will of our pets, so those will always be posted here.

Currently, we're working on a few major projects to give you some great insight into what we do at Advanced Animal Care.  Be sure to check us out on YouTube (the link is above) within the next week for a virtual tour of our facility.  In the future, we'll be posting other videos on our channel, but that's the big one for now!

Also, keep looking for links to this blog.  We want to inform you of the operations at AAC, so we'll be posting a number of blogs in the next month.  For those of you interested in working at an animal hospital - be it as a doctor or technician - we have an internship program that we'll be telling you about very soon.

Finally, we know how important a personable business is to you.  That's why we've reached out across so many networks to get to you!  But we also recognize that you may want to know just who it is caring for your babies when they need us.  So we'll also be collecting information about our doctors and technicians to post in a series of blogs that we'll call "Meet Our Family."  All of this is coming very soon, so keep checking on us!

We are very excited about all these new opportunities that technology has provided us, and we hope you are, too!  If you have any questions, we encourage you to contact us in whatever way is comfortable to you: social media, telephone, or even in person.

So be sure to "Like" us on Facebook; "Follow" us on Twitter, Pintrest, Flickr, and Blogger; "Subscribe" to us on YouTube; and "+1" us on Google+ for the most in "connectedness."  And, look!  Some of the buttons to those sites are already below for your convenience.  We love to hear from you and we hope you'll find our other social networking sites worthwhile.
